Principal Vincent Feeney awarded Order of Australia Media (OAM)

Mr Vincent Feeney, Principal of St Francis Xavier College, Beaconsfield has been awarded an Order of Australia Medal (OAM) in the recent 2024 Australia Day honours list.

Vincent was awarded the medal for his outstanding service to secondary education.

Vincent’s dedication and passion for Catholic education spans 44 years; 31 of those in the position of Principal. He has also served on a number of Boards and Associations including the Diocese of Sale Secondary Principals’ Association; as a member of the Salary and Conditions Board of the Catholic Education Commission of Victoria Ltd; President of the Catholic Secondary Principals’ Australia, and President of the Principals’ Association of Victorian Catholic Secondary Schools.

Director of Education for the Diocese of Sale Mr Paul Velten congratulated Vincent on his achievement and the contribution he has made to Catholic education in the Diocese of Sale, and across Victoria.
