Anne began her career in teaching at Morwell Technical School in 1976 after previously working in both municipal and school libraries. She entered the Catholic education system when she was appointed to Kildare College Traralgon in 1983. Since that time Anne has taught across a range of subjects and year levels, with her main focus being in the English, Humanities, Special Needs and Pastoral Care areas. Of more recent years she has been directly involved in the developing of VCAL provision in Gippsland and in Applied Learning Pathways and Gifted Education. In 2008, she was appointed Director of Differentiated Learning at Lavalla Catholic College Traralgon. In 2010  she began a twelve month secondment to the Catholic Education Office, Diocese of Sale and accepted an ongoing position from February 2011.  

Anne works with both primary and secondary schools and has a strong commitment to supporting the development of both school leadership and teacher expertise in the areas of universal design of curriculum,  acknowledgement and valuing of diversity, recognition of the power of student voice and greater understanding of the particular strengths and challenges faced by individual students with a disability.
