Diploma of Teaching (Primary); Bachelor of Education; Graduate Diploma in Mental Health for the Teaching Professions; Post Graduate Certificate in Educational Intervention; Master of Education (Special Education, Early Intervention and Inclusion); Trainer in the Seasons for Growth program.

Sharon has worked in Catholic Education in the Melbourne and Sale Dioceses and is passionate about learning for all children. She believes that learning happens in a nurturing environment where each child is respected, where questions are embraced and where success is celebrated. Classrooms in which these values are evident are happy places where learning happens naturally. Sharon advocates fairness in the classroom where the needs of each child are planned for, including the child with additional, specific needs.

She has taught across all levels of the primary school and has served in positions of leadership, including Deputy Principal and Acting Principal. Most recently, she taught at St Ita’s Primary School in Drouin where she was a classroom teacher and the Wellbeing Coordinator.

Sharon sees herself as a lifelong learner and completed her Master of Special Education, Early intervention and Inclusion in 2014.

Sharon works in the Learning Adjustment Team and welcomes the opportunity to work with Principals and teachers to promote the inclusion and success of all children and their families.
