Master of Education (Student Wellbeing); Bachelor of Education (Literacy, Special Needs); Diploma of Teaching (Primary);  Family Partnership Foundation Course Facilitator; Inclusion Online Training (OLT) Lead Tutor:  Understanding and Supporting Behaviour

Anne brings a diversity of experience to her current role, having held teaching and leadership positions across all levels of primary education.

All individuals require equal opportunities to learn. Using an application of a level of adjustment approach, Anne’s role is to build the instructional capacity of principals and school leaders, focusing on the Catholic Education Commission of Victoria Ltd (CECV) Intervention Framework.

As a wellbeing response, Anne will support principals and school leaders to implement the principles of the Diocese of Sale Whole School Approach to Positive Behaviour Support: Universals. Expert teachers are critical to student learning success. Anne consistently focuses on the well-established link between student engagement, student behaviour and academic achievement. A universal approach to positive behaviour support involves all students receiving high-quality, scientifically based instruction, differentiated to meet diverse student capabilities. It provides a structure and process for school communities to establish a positive learning culture.

Anne’s position focuses on the improvement of student learning opportunities and outcomes in the Victorian Curriculum capabilities: particularly the Social and Personal Capability. The goal is to enable students to understand themselves and others, and manage their relationships, lives, work and learning more effectively.

Anne is a tutor for the Inclusion Online Training course, Understanding and Supporting Behaviour; focusing on the development of knowledge, understanding and skills of staff working in primary and secondary schools across the diocese. Course participants are supported to reflect on their own practice and to increase their use of positive behaviour approaches.

Anne works in the Learning Adjustment Team, nested within the Learning and Teaching Team.
