About the School

Marist-Sion College is a Catholic educational community of approximately 900 students which provides a rich and broad education for students seeking a Catholic secondary education. In the traditions of the Marist Brothers and the Sisters of Our Lady of Sion, we uphold the gospel call to love through genuine pastoral care of students, in a mutually supportive partnership with parents. Our courses and activities offer challenge and balance to bring out the inherent gifts of students and staff to levels of personal excellence. In Years 11 and 12, students are offered a wide range of VCE Studies, VET programs and VCAL. Student selection of a course of study is supported by counselling and careers advice. Our co-curricular program covers an extensive range of activities that includes: Remar(which involves spirituality, social justice and leadership), choir, bands, school production, musical and dramatic performances, theatre sports, inter-house and inter-school sport, Marist netball and cricket tournaments, Tournament of the Minds, public speaking and debating.
