About the School

St Thomas’ Primary School has been part of the Sale community since it was officially opened in 1970 by the Sisters of Sion. It cherishes its Catholic traditions.

At St Thomas’ Primary School we continue to envisage a school where each member of the community will experience the love of Jesus through belonging to a Spirit-filled Catholic family, living out our values of Faith, Loyalty and Truth.

St Thomas’ Primary School is a community where we work confidently towards achieving our potential through innovative learning experiences in an enriching environment.

St Thomas’ Primary School is special because our community works collaboratively to achieve a safe, positive and supportive learning environment.

Religious Education is the cornerstone of our learning, for it is here our children learn the value and the importance of fostering relationships with one another.

The school provides challenging curriculum experiences and is committed to having uninterrupted literacy and numeracy blocks each day. French, sport and performing arts are all specialist subjects that all children at our school experience and thoroughly enjoy.

Our school is situated on 10 acres, which caters for a range of sporting and recreational facilities. Over the last three years we have received two Federal Government grants which enabled us to build a student building, multi-purpose hall, ICT room and administration building.

St Thomas’ Primary School believes that all children have a place in our community and will endeavour to work towards seeing all children reach their full potential.
