About the SchoolStJohnsKooWeeRup

Trinity Catholic Primary School opened in January, 2000 to meet the rapidly growing demand for Catholic primary education in the southern area of the Narre Warren parish of Our Lady Help of Christians. Trinity has an enrolment of over 550 students and has reached its ceiling of three classes at each year level from Prep to Year 6.

We aim to foster the spiritual, intellectual, social, emotional and physical development of each student.  This is done in a nurturing and welcoming environment where gospel values are evident in our relationships, policies and practices.

We start each school week with an assembly at which we acknowledge that we are part of an Australian Catholic community.  Part of this is reciting our school prayer, singing the National Anthem and raising the Australian Flag.

The staff at Trinity are dedicated, enthusiastic professionals who are committed to providing a stimulating and challenging learning environment.  The children are encouraged and supported in achieving their personal best in their learning.

Both the School Board and the Parents and Friends Committee provide practical support and assistance in furthering the growth of the school.

Our Pastoral Care program is not just limited to assisting school students but extends to providing practical and emotional support to families as the need arises.

In recognizing that the family is the most significant influence upon a child, we see learning as ongoing partnership between home and school.
