History Honoured by Students

15 September, 2015

Sale locals were greeted by a sea of white shirts as they drove along Reeve Street on Friday morning when more than 600 Catholic College Sale St Pat’s students, walked to Our Lady of Sion Campus to join their Sion counterparts to make their mark in history.

Catholic College Sale celebrates the 125th anniversary of the opening of Sion Campus this year and have decided to mark the occasion in style, with more than 1000 students and staff joining together on the Sion oval to form the number ‘125’.

Local drone aerial photographer, John Morgan was on hand to record the occasion which was certainly a sight to behold. “The College spirit was never more evident” said Principal Mr Chris Randell, “with our whole school together, the pride you could feel in the gathered staff and students was great to be a part of.”

Further celebrations for the anniversary will be held on the weekend of Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th November 2015. More details can be found on the College website.
