    Welcome to the website of the Catholic Education Office, Diocese of Sale!

    Bishop PatThe first Catholic schools in what is now the Diocese of Sale opened in 1852 at Tarraville, near Port Albert, and Toomuc Creek, near Pakenham. From these humble beginnings, Catholic schooling has spread and grown. Catholic primary and secondary education is today offered right across Gippsland.
